I know there's no description here, but I wish that there was a weird trend where instead of saying, "Trailcam picture of a bobcat" or whatever, it just said, "Oh it's Jeff!" as if all animals everywhere each have names that we should somehow all already know. I think it's what the world needs.

I found a big one yesterday crawling up the inside of my windshield late at night when I was driving on the freeway. I pulled into a gas station to help the spider out of my car, I found that he crawled out of reach somehow underneath my rear view mirror's ceiling mount thingie. To be continued :/

Morrissey's new album cover is so weird to me. Aside from Morrissey being a real dingaling, this cover is giving me "image generated from a prompt" vibes. Maybe AI has poisoned my brain so much that I can't process reality anymore.

Sometimes I wish that finding a heads-up penny on the ground was a sign of luck so good that the rest of your life felt like you had all the cheat codes turned on. Then you'd get everything you want but feel unfulfilled, cursing Abraham Lincoln.

Nothing I watched up til that point affected me like Nephrite dying for "Molly." Not Bambi's mom getting shot, not Geppetto crying over his puppet son's dead drowned body, not anything lol.

Anyway, the old-school dub was really on-point in this episode. Mary Long's wailing was seared onto my soul.

I didn't have the words for it at the time, and I'm not 100% sure I do even now, but Sailor Moon gave me something I didn't know I desperately longed for, something that was missing in me.

Also it taught me that a cartoon can be both silly and fun and dramatic and then suddenly break your heart.

When I first discovered Sailor Moon in the 90s, I was a little boy whose brain was full of both toxic masculine rhetoric and a deep aversion to anything "too girly" or "too different." This episode shoved me on my dumb ass and I instantly realized I wasn't "watching the show to make fun of it."
