The line drawings for this art were created with an analog Sharpie and the coloring was done digitally. Strange as it may seem, analog line drawings are more detailed. For some reason, line drawings cannot be drawn as finely when done digitally.

For very fine whiskers or hairs I use a bit of latex masking fluid. It's nice to have on hand, but doesn't store very well.

I use only 11 colors of paint when I color. The reason is simple: more than that would cause a mild panic. It is also easier to mix and match a small number of colors.

small artists like myself can’t simply raise the price because thats what we deserve. there’s not a lot of people that support us and when the demand for our work is low, we HAVE to make our commission prices cheap.

My random tip of the day is: Fail.

Make some dog shit art, make something you think you like and then hate, despise your own work. See the flaws in your previous makings and then approach your new work with the mindset of making those failings better.
