Yeah... that is a problem for me, lol.. especially with these old games that have completely different control schemes. I find that they almost feel new/innovative these days because most modern AAA games have the same feel and controls. What's your one game at the moment?

I've got two going depending on my mood. Heroes of Might and Magic V has been winning, but I switch to No One Lives Forever for some silliness and high-speed action. I don't know if I can focus on a single game... my brain is too insane lately.

it's from a looong time ago, but it's caused my upper back to get all locked up... and my neck is swollen pinching nerves... causing severe ear ringing that comes and goes with the swelling... The American doctors tried to hook me on opioids, lol. I've been flying to Taiwan and it's been helpful.

I'm not saying this is bad. It's important to share our values, condemn heinous things rich people are doing, share news that mainstream outlets bury, etc.... but it's not the same as organizing a game night, discussing mods lists, having topical discussions, etc. That stuff is better on a forum.

sure... but the platforms help push people in weird directions... for instance, micro-blogs like this are good for marketing, signaling our values, and feeling like we are making a difference even if we are not... it's not as good for true community engagement, while forums are great for communities
