Well.. I hope to be a Senator for Texas. Running for an office isn't something I ever really saw myself doing but here we are. The world feels in crisis mode lately and we deserve better. So everyone should do what we can to help preserve our democracy.

So you gotta wonder are the ones up there now operating on the motive drafting policy based on our will and the will of our home or are they more interested in implementing the will of corporate oligarchs?

The primary responsibility is listening to the constituents and translating their will into a language that judges can understand, to be an ear, a heart, a voice and a vote on behalf of our homeland and it's peoples.

A perspective like that matters because the decisions we make truly do steer humanity and the world future generations are depending on us not screwing up.

I'll elaborate on all of this more later because there are many reasons I'm running but the main one is that as a geographer and historian it's easy for me to see the world in clear context.
