Kale as the primary or only leaf in a salad? Fucking blows! I’m tired of the kale propaganda, give me spinach, give me anything else as a base. This is a kale salad hate account.

When I tell you this one scene in Bodies Bodies Bodies changed my life? I quoted it so often until I embodied that same vibe.

Anyways, that’s my little update. I love old me, she was still hot as fuck, and will continue to be hot as fuck regardless.

But it will be nice to be in a physical state where I can lift weights again (and not re-injure myself). One step at a time!

Right now, this is what is working for me. It may not be the same in a few years. I’ve fluctuated weight my entire life depending on the circumstances. I’ve done this dance before. But the difference now is focusing on my literal health (not exclusively weight related), and loving my past self.

It’s gotten a lot better! It’s still difficult for me to celebrate, especially right now when it feels like the world is embracing some pretty harmful body views. It has taken a lot of therapy to accept that my body is not a “before/after”. It’s just a “then/now”.

I’ve been in chronic pain for a couple years now. It got so bad, I could barely get out of bed without feeling it. I’ve been in physical therapy off and on. I got better about seeing my doctors. I track my nutrition. But my focus has never been on being “thin”, I just don’t want to hurt every day.

I wanted to share one thing I’m proud of this year, even though we still have one month left to go. I’ve lost 50 lbs so far from my highest weight. I’m a big girl, and I’ll always be a big girl. That’s okay! But it’s hard to talk about it when you have a complicated relationship with weight loss.

It is a fantastic story with some frustrating combat mechanics. But hopefully these changes improve its quality of life! I don’t find myself particularly good at dodge/parry style games, but I was determined lol. Worth checking out!

LRP: These are much needed updates and changes. Only the worst types of gamers will tell you otherwise. I love this game, but there were definitely points where the combat slows the story progression and it feels like a chore. I hope this means more people can enjoy it enough to play!
