They fed about fifty people over a four-day weekend
On the last morning they had already struck camp and couldn't cook

Organizers had arranged with a protest kitchen to cater to the visitors and they did an admiral job. Operating out of a big truck, they had a big canvas tent and a one gas ring camp stove that was as big as they get--could boil a 55 gallon drum of water in an hour

Way back when Ca. Gov. Pete Wilson (R) tried to open a nuclear waste dump in the Mojave Desert. I traveled to the site with classmates for an informational encampment in Ward Valley, close to Needles.
