I totally understand this, but at the same time I shouldn't have to constantly check-in for updates from what is arguably someone's business. That responsibility should really be on the artist, not the consumer. Like man I should not have to constantly ask the artist to do what I paid them for.

Exactly, yeah. And it bugs me more when I see them taking more commission requests, like dude finish what you have on your plate before you fill up more

It really frustrates me when an artist owes me a comm, provides no communication, and they spend every day pumping out personal sketches
