βͺ@eddavey.libdems.org.uk out Trump's attack on the BBC:
"President Trump is trying to destroy our BBC - not because he cares about the truth."
Trump has undermined the press freedom in the US, now he's trying to do the same thing here, disgracefully egged on by the leader of Reform."
The BBC can retrieve something from this mess (and show US broadcasters what a spine is) by sending Donald Trump a four letter response: βSee you in court!β www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/ideas/media/...

Deeply embarrassing: Michael Prescott himself doctored a Trump quote in his anti-BBC report against...doctoring a Trump quote.

What do Trump, Putin and Farage, have in common? They're all trying to bring down the BBC
I'm a UK pensioner living in Spain, without the benefit of a winter fuel allowance.
My pitiful UK state pension is my only source of income yet I can afford to heat my home.
Would that more pensioners living in Blighty could say the same.
The ΓΌber-cynical contortions Farage/Reform/Tories have to perform to simultaneously:
- slag off the BBC in favour of propaganda outlets
- shout about protecting women and girls
- condemn Andrew and
- champion Trumpβ¦
Well, Iβve never wanted the whole deck to come tumbling down more than I do now.
To knit together two stories: through intimidation, litigation & extortion, Trump is clearly trying to create a media ecosystem where nobody asks him about Epstein - or indeed anything discomfiting. It is appalling to see so many UK media individuals & institutions aiding & abetting his corruption.

As I was saying way back in May, the idea of Morgan McSweeney being some kind of political and tactical genius has always been a myth www.adambienkov.co.uk/p/the-foundi...
