Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons:

-We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S.

-The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous.

Interesting that as soon as I signed up on this site, my FB account was deleted because there was something against their community standards. If pics of cats and pics from the AIDS Ride is against community standards, then so be it. Each day I miss FB less and less. Glad I found Blue Sky.

My account was suspended for not following community standards. WTF? Had to prove who I am. WTF? Luckily I am not following those clowns.

I received a notice that my Facebook account has been suspended due to community rules. Don't know what I did but they want me to record a video showing my face from different angles to make sure it is me. Has anyone ever heard of this? I was hacked back in 2023 and FB was never the same for me.
