And by lucky, I mean finding a card that is currently selling for a lot of money. If you spend $1000, open all the packs, and find 5 cards worth a combined total of $500...you're gonna have flip those bad boys and the rest of those cards you pulled real hard to make a profit

Genuinely convinced that most folks who are ripping MANY packs open at a time in hopes of getting lucky are simply not good at math

Sooo is spending thousands of dollars on Pokémon (trading cards in general) booster packs in hopes of finding cards that could be "flipped for profit" considered a gambling addiction yet?

- Had a lovely holiday break away from family
- Returned to work (always a bummer)
- Yesterday I noticed a threatening message from a known piece of shit in my inbox
- Had a mild panic attack because of the seemingly never ending train ride of Things Just Keep Happening

- Spent 5 days helping my grandparents investigate, resolve, and clean up after a scam they fell for (nothing lost thankfully)
- Have been managing my extended family's overwhelming anxiety over the matter ever since
- Had to witness my parents flounder at being functioning adults for the nth time

I need things to calm down a little. Just a little. I've had enough lmaooo

Limiting it to 5 is difficult. I could go on. I love to see a critter in the wild and treasure everytime I see one. Something I miss dearly about where I grew up is being able to easily access nature. I yearn to witness a creature

Tbh one of the best things about being home for the holiday break is that I can leave my shitty facial hair alone for 4 days

Anyway. I deep cleaned the kitchen for the first time in months because I have a 4 day weekend. Wish I felt like I could use this time to just do nothing rather than catch up on all the things I've been neglecting due to mental exhaustion

Wild how having a full time job I commute to everyday fucking kills my motivation to do take care of myself and my surroundings. It's overwhelming!
