Terrible news. I hate to think it probably did.
The Northern hemisphere was affected quite bad.
It's just across the North Pole and I'd expect the winds would have moved the radiation cloud all around there and up there.

Cool thanks.
And...
A mate from High School, a long time ago, his father was a plumber there too.
What did annoy me when we went joyriding, was the family would sing that silly song "Didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to Bangor......"
If I hear that song one more time I'll scream....

I grew up not far from Lucas Heights.
I think it only produces a particular isotope, or two??
I haven't kept up with what it does.

An uncle used to take us to ride his petrol go-cart around the old dirt roads and tracks that used to be Alfords point, Illawong, and Menai. Was great fun.

Yes.
It was terrible for humanity.
Remember all the children that had to be sent across the world to help recover from the effects of the radiation poisoning?
It's unfortunate it's in Ukraine too.

Gloucestershire nuclear power station will take 100 years to close Berkeley nuclear power station, situated on the bank of the River Severn, was closed in 1989.

And here's an old one in the UK that operated for 27 years and will take over a 100 years to decommission.
Ain't that grand!

In policy shift, Australia backs UN call for Israeli pullout from Palestinian areas Canberra supports measure for first time since 2001, calling for two-state solution and peace conference; country's opposition accuses government of 'selling out' Jewish community

I thought I heard this on the news tonight.
I had to check it out.
The last time we voted for something against Israel was back in 2001, probably before the Zionists came to begin their pursuit of control here.

Yes.
My Great-Grandmother's Great-Grandfather drafted the charter for the old Bank of New South Wales.
I hate having some of my 'wealth' in charge of a private company and I'll never go cashless either.
Don't you just love it when the system is down... LOL

Also not forgetting that an ATM gives a maximum of, I think, $2000 a day. I would never want to be charged for withdrawing more than that in one transaction.
It's my money they use to earn profit by investing it and using for mortgages to earn interest from other customers.
They're Greedy bastards

I tried 'interacting' with her over there. She never bothered to respond. @parnellpalme.bsky.social is useless and underwhelming. A total bore.

Yes, I reckon some did. We were advise to get them to make it part of a larger number they knew ie. Use 4 numbers of a phone number, or a child's brithday.
Now people don't even bother signing the back of it, like people from the USA.
It's, be vigilant for safety regardless. 🖖

When and If they lost their wallet or card, we couldn't do anything to reimburse. we'd Just cancel the card and reissue and tell them "Don't do that". A lot were completely cleared out. Was heartbreaking.

Having worked for 3 financial institutions, the number of people who wrote their PIN on the back of their card was staggering.

Also, he has many children and can't be bothered to love one of them for who they are, but it seems he wants to love them for who HE want's them to be.
He's a horrible father to Vivian.

Was a bit curious to see the number when I joined in Nov last year. I only started to engage in the last few days.
I didn't know there was a way, but SkyZoo will let you know.

I'm not stalking but you are much younger than 30,000. LOL
Thanks for the info about firehose. it's fascinating.
