Also think that they are so used to not playing with 2 fouls that if they suddenly started to play with 2, they would probably be too tentative. If you are an irreplaceable player, you probably shouldn't be fully benched with 2. But get trying to steal minutes if you can

Blackwell commits 2.9 fouls per 40 min. There is no reason to sit him on the bench for 8 min when he's the lifeblood of your offense. Gard is effectively fouling him out for no reason

By Gard's biggest weakness is his refusal to play his stars with two fouls in the first half. I'm betting a good portion of this is when the backup bigs get 2 early and he just rides with them
