I hope not as I’ve enjoyed her songs so far. I do find it a bit interesting that her first ever US tour dates were arena shows with that Benson dude. Hopefully, she was received well on those. I’m hoping for some east coast dates soon.

With the advent of Social Media, participation began to taper off and nowadays it’s a just handful of regular users keeping the faith.

It was the place where I felt the most comfortable posting on. Which of course in typical fashion I had the least reach.

I’m willing to at least try to play in the new sandbox, we’ll see what comes of it.

In the early 2000s the forum was a very active community, multiple members. Even led to making some real life friendships.

It’s a bittersweet day as the 9:30 Club forum I’ve been a part of for over 25 years is being mothballed today and being replaced with a Discord server. Not exactly the replacement I would have wanted. I understand the rationale and hope the plans for it take hold.

I did mention him here in passing once because he appeared on one Dwight’s album. The other fun fact about him is he did a stint with Sha Na Na
