It’s a vw it’s prone to leaks in general 😂😂

Its crazy. I didn’t get it new but I’ve had it for 8.5 years now

So far, I think the upper timing cover gasket is leaking (again) and the trans cooler to transmission orings. And possibly the engine oil pan but I’ve cleaned it up and will give it a few days and see.
It’s been dripping on the concrete floor and Evan is very concerned lol

It’s 13 years old, it’s doing alright

Noise. So much noise. I just cannot. I don’t understand why people feel the need to narrate everything they’re doing when no one is listening

I’m terrified of sedation so I do everything without if I can 😅 it wasn’t super fun but it was fine. I’ve read North Americans sedate people for them way more than Nordic countries

Just had a upper endoscopy with no sedation, that was neat 🤣

Tomorrow I have an endoscopy in the morning and a pulmonary function test in the evening. I have another cardiologist appointment and 😭 just having someone want to at least try to figure out what’s wrong with me after 20 years of this is so 😭🤎 ahhh

Waited over two years to see an allergist after reactions to three antibiotic families.
Saw allergist (fantastic) in October and received multiple referrals to other specialists as she thinks I don’t have allergies but other things and now things are happening so quickly.

My partner is the same. Thats the worst part of the year for him.
Me, I wear hoodies and long pants year round. I live for cozy season. Though the acclimation periods in spring and fall are tough haha.

They truly are and it’s so unfortunate. My last manager was hell bent on forming alliances and bullying. It was exhausting. This last year and a half has been so different and it’s so obvious how much I’ve been able to grow when I’m not doing it out of spite haha.

Instead, I got a ‘we are all human, and thank you for your efforts on this file’. And then a call telling me it’s not something to worry about, everyone is aware of the workload I’ve been managing. I could also cry over this. Haha. I’m so lucky to have such a great manager.

I missed a deadline at my job by a large margin. It affected a report going out.
I submitted my official reason for missing it to my manager and planning department on Friday. I expected a rap on the knuckles.

It is!!! In between all the other effects that perimenopause has been punching me with, this is a bit of relief haha. 🤣

I’m having the predictable side effects of more sensitive dry skin but the hormonal acne is already so much better

FINALLY got a topical prescription acne medication to manage the acne I have been *struggling* with the last two years and I could honestly cry - I’m a week and a half in and it’s a game changer already.

It’s crazy how things stick with us and affect us. I’ve got other comments that never stopped affecting me too, most of them negative. But that one in particular still makes me smile

When I was like 14 and very insecure, one of my close friends told me in the sweetest most genuine way that I had what she thought was the perfect cupids bow (upper lip). 24 years later and I still think about it every time I line or colour my lips - and I have loved my lips since that comment.

Test run for the Halloween costume. Made the horns and ears this evening after deciding I would indeed dress up for work tomorrow 😅

I have had an intense craving for lobster and crab legs for five days and ignoring it is not making it go away. Also I had scallops and shrimp and neither satisfied the craving.
It’s wild how intense it is haha

I too was up early for the day, however it was not perimenopause for me (this time) it was my dog whining (and farting) that she desperately needed to go out at 3:30.
Poor thing is having issues post vaccinations, poor girl.

Ten degrees in the bedroom tonight. Perfect.
