For Osaka there is a cluster of independent photography shops near Umeda station. I also found Yodabashi to have a great stock of film even though not an independent. Tokyo I forget now as it was a few years back but Shinjuku will have a lot of options.

CT will screw up faster film. However, I have gotten away with it for slower stuff 100 and below so it's possible to still travel with it. That said, I have also bought plenty of film *in* Japan and certainly for faster/ instant, that is the best bet.

Anyone ever dev a roll after a long time in the camera and feel a bit like showing these would be weird because it's not made by 'me' now? Gerda wasn't used since last spring and there as some great ones from then on there.

It's really sad the way blogs went. I long for a way to connect with people that doesn't bring with it the concomitant stressors of even the mildest social media..

Found a rangefinder that wasn't a silly price that fits Gerda the Leica Standard and it is even the right colour! This makes me happy as I want to use the basic Elmar 50 for a bit. Back to basics stuff. #BelieveInFilm

Well when you are using paper negs a certain amount of precision is called for. Since you have a tightrope of latitude. That and when you get to exposures that long half a stop here and there could mean missing your lunch!

Mine goes to F256 and then you can dial in another 20EV compensation equivalent to an ND filter. But nothing specific to say an F1400 pinhole.
