Peter has not had an actual supporting cast in the comics in *years* and it has genuinely made his comics so goddamn boring. Like I don’t care about just how he punches the villain, I wanna know what his personal life is like outside of “yup I still can’t marry MJ oh well”

It’s interesting because Hickman even shows us when Peter finally started to change and realise what was going on with the Kraven arc, yet people seem blind to it

It's also more gradual than Harry's arc but I feel that's just because we needed to get him to a particular place before the lead up to the final issue

I don't get the idea that Hickman isn't doing anything with Peter in USM. Peter in #18-19 feels like a different person from the one we first met. #2 Peter wouldn't have done either of these. I think people are just struggling to cope with Peter going through a different arc than we usually see
