Random morning thought - why did the THIN MAN movies stay strictly in the US? I would imagine a couple like the Charles would often be globetrotting and stumbling into mysteries in far off glamorous locales like Paris or Havana.

I read the first four or five of the books back in high school courtesy of the local library . Never finished the series as college and life got in the way. Still over the years I’ve picked up a few of them in my travels with the hope of giving the whole series a reread some day.
