I'm no longer able to walk or stand for more than a few minutes.

Haven't begun the legal "disability" path from painfully rural healthcare clinic.

But glad to hear I'll be able to walk again. And at 58, so very enticing to future employers.

This is what "No disabled enough" looks like. A rural healthcare provider, typically not even a doctor but a PA writes you pain med scrips but doesn't work with you on what or how disability might work for you or if you qualify.

You sink below ANYONES concept of the poverty level and can't dig out.

I do web design. I don't charge as little as India. I don't use WIX, SquareSpace or Word Press.... I BUILD WEBSITES.

No one wants to pay for that work, so no projects.

When you haven't showered for a month and have no clean or even decent clothes...

How do you go to the doctor? Or anywhere?

I was bed bound 6 mo in 2023. I lost mobility. I can't stand, I can't "work".

Non working well, means I buy water with SNAP benefits. Means no showers, laundry... no being in public.

$0.21 in my bank acct. No gas to town >
