There's no reason for me to still be awake. Well maybe I had more coffee than usual today. Off to try again to nod off.

So, couldn't get to sleep. Just as I think I may nod off the neighbours bang about and put their washing machine on. It's 3.30 am. The washing machine is pretty noisy and shakes the whole house when it gets to the spin cycle. I have given up on sleep.

On the front the white stuff is a water soluble paper that I had drawn the designs on using stencils. I figured it would be easier to leave it all on till I felt the decorations were complete and soak them all off at once.

Trying to decide whether to go mad and put lots of embroidery on the jeans or keep it vaguely subtle. Concentrated on decorating the pockets today. The two surviving patches on the back pockets(the rest fell off over a few wears and washes) have been added to with embroidery and fabric paint.

And I have now moved on to decorating a pair of jeans. I've only got photos of the front pocket embroidery so far, but I have begun to add little flowers too.

Jacket is done. Front and back. My blanket stitch is appalling.
Lord knows if I'll ever wear it in the wild, maybe on special occasions.

I managed to kill my laptop this morning. I have a back up netbook but it's normal size and quite old. The laptop fitted in my handbag and was handy when commuting or travelling. I currently can't replace it, but in the grand scheme of things I'll live.

And here we are awake at 4.30am because the neighbours just put their super noisy washing machine on. 😠

My other half is a biker, he's not long set off for his 125 mile trip to have a bacon buttie and a cuppa with some other bikers, so I've been awake since his hideously early alarm. Good morning!
