Not only is the new curriculum unacceptable, but the process of creating it was deeply problematic, with the curriculum committee co-chaired by the Executive Director of the Baltimore Jewish Council and no Arab or Muslim voices included.

We’ve been working with our partners in the Montgomery County Palestine Solidarity Network pushback against new statewide social studies curriculum changes that remove references to Palestine and omit education about events in Israel and Palestine after 1994.
