The Mercury is in orbit of Earth to pick up and drop off packages and physical mail. I look forward to our next delivery stop at Denobula. I always enjoy stopping by home. In the meantime nothing stops the FPS not ion storm nor asteroid breakup, nor tachyons.

Shuttlecraft Galileo is rendezvousing with the Starship Hood. Five ensigns and I are going to be under investigation for the murder of Ensign Shue. No one knows how the death occurred as the Shuttle lost power and we all do not remember the elapsed five minutes.

The supplies of Tulaberry wine I acquired managed to net Book and I four pieces of dilithium, two bars of Latinum, and one Starfleet black box from the time of the Burn. Book thinks it's a futile use of resources, but I must know what happened to the Federation.

There seems to have also been an airshow because a colorful Starfleet Delta was emitted over the bay. The Athena herself consists of a central saucer section with a raised dome protruding from the top of the vessel. The impulse engines are just behind the dome. A rectangular section sits at a downward 45° angle below the saucer in this mode. Also two semi-circular wings sit floating midway up this rectangular section.

In all my years since activation I have encountered a new medical problem. A cadet in repairing a replicator mixed up the input from the bio matter tanks with the programmable matter tanks. I have been fixing chipped teeth from tritanium food since breakfast!

For yet unknown reasons the USS Thant has decloaked and opened fire on us. Bryce is hailing them and still they do not answer. Commander Burnham's scans are inconclusive. The crew are all there, but what would cause a Starfleet ship to attack another?

Discovery is helping put the final touches on the new Titan Repair Station. This place will help rebuild the Federation ahead of a bright new future. Earth eagerly requested the station for the Sol system, and Ni'Var sent the NSS Voroth to offer their assistance.

Captain Soval, Commander Taris, and Lt. Commander Ngowa are all dead. The chain of command sits on my shoulders over the hulk of scrap that is the USS Oregon. Last thing I saw was a Klingon D7 decloaked and fired a flurry across the ship, crippling us.

Our newly commissioned base in the Garadius system's asteroid belt was always going to be a tense and controversial defensive position. The Romulans just fired three low yield plasma torpedoes as a warning shot. No damages, and no casualties reported.

I am acting as flag officer representing the Federation aboard the Lexington. The Redwood and the Crossfield have joined me in this effort of establishing Paradise City on Nimbus III.

The Del Sol is orbiting Earth to pick up new crew members. On rotation for this voyage are Ensigns Ahr Harrison, Pranica, Priddy, and Tilley. Today they join Starfleet on the greatest trek of their generation as we set out to explore the depths of the Alpha quadrant.

I spoke with the Captain about her personal experiences with her brother while Discovery was visiting Ni'Var today. We discussed his life and rebirth. I have been reading his writings on the subject of life after death and relating it to my own experiences.

The Crossfield is en route to Setlik III after attending a diplomatic conference at Cardassia Prime. I was gifted a copy of "The Never Ending Sacrifice" translated into Federation standard from Councilor Nestral. I gifted him with a bottle of Pinot Noir.

The Syracuse will be in orbit of Vulcan for the following two weeks for the funeral for my former first officer Commander V'Lok. He was sadly killed during seismic activity while deep underground beneath P'Tranek Monastery for the rights of Kolinahr.

The Klingons have disembarked. Basic repairs have been made. The tug ships Portland, Hatteras, and the Makapuʻu have arrived to tow Starbase 1 to the orbit of Jupiter. Once the base is more repaired we'll be returning the biome pods back to this fine port.
