I've only done one Doom run that got to the boss, but lost as well. Delay helps a ton, but I had Neurosurge and ended up wrecking myself because my damage output wasn't high enough.

Pokémon hit when I was in my mid-20's. I played Red for about three hours when I put it down and said "This was great when it was Final Fantasy on the NES. I'm glad others love it, but it isn't my thing."
But I sure did get a kick out of the Detective Pikachu movie!
The people complaining drive me a little up a wall.
We got super space Lantern in the Gosling movie and woo boy did people have no interest.
Keeping it relatable and "low to the ground" can possibly draw in a broader audience.
But also, I trust Gunn.
The moment with Haysbert and the tuna was right up there with Sorry to Bother You and Glover explaining to use the white man's voice. Such a spot on moment of social commentary.
But the constant back and forth power play was great, and also the plane crash has so many Raimi moments. Loved it.

Seeing this float around today and look. Eisenhower said smart things... after he spent four years in the White House enabling and building the apparatus and systems he "warned" about later.
