Same spot, now the roadway is narrower and only two lanes. There’s an asphalt one way bike lane behind a curb and boulevard strip. It is separated by a boulevard from the sidewalk, but joins to meet it in a continuous crossing over the side street, without any curb cuts needed.

Kitchener is continuing to rebuild collector streets with continuous sidewalks and protected bike lanes and it is both absolutely mundane and extremely inspiring
