through emotional support &͟&͟. against his instincts, ralsei is learning to embrace selfdom, as well as honesty. he’s merely a kind-hearted soul with excessive weight on his shoulders.

consequently, ralsei doesn’t feel significant as a friend beyond prophesized obligations, believing that he will eventually be abandoned by the lightners for not being of sufficient help or value.

moreover, ralsei’s passion for his companions is so tremendous, the incapacity to support their needs in the “real world” deeply affects him————this futility factors into his inferiority complex.

ralsei’s view of his purpose &͟&͟. love of his friends has formed an actively detrimental selflessness ... he is self-sabotaging, willing to risk his own well-being to protect the lightners.

as a darkner, ralsei lacks selfhood, often opposing the notion of deserving his own unique &͟&͟. identifiable qualities or interests————he is meant to be molded for &͟&͟. around others’ needs.

he’s been bestowed a wealth of knowledge about the rules &͟&͟. future of the world————knowledge ralsei can’t warmly embrace, feigning ignorance around his cohorts to spare them the grim truth.

ralsei is both the mage &͟&͟. healer of his party, preferring to act non-violently to elude combat. his pacifism is partially influenced by the desire to adjust the universe’s prophecy.

ralsei’s central goal is to aid his companions, the lightners, on their quest to pursue their destiny. to his belief, it’s the only way that he, a darkner, can feel truly fulfilled.

forged from darkness, ralsei is a figment of sorts————best thought of as an imaginary friend, he is only able to persist in exotic dimensions of fantasy known as “dark worlds.”

the lonely prince of a humble kingdom, ralsei is a darkner————an entity of tenebrosity————who, alongside his friends, is fated to save the world by restoring balance betwixt light &͟&͟. dark.
