Couple of my classmates did a final project on noise levels in a different context and they found it incredibly difficult to find data, seems like a data gap that needs filling.

Would love to see Chicago Sate grow. Increasing the capacity for another great and significant size Chicago university, this time on the far south side, would do wonders to make college accessible for Chicagoans. Not to mention this pairs well with the new Metra and CTA transit investment nearby!

Today at the ribbon cutting for CTA’s brand new 100% accessible Red line stations, Senator Simmons made the call clear: it’s time for legislators to get back to Springfield NOW for a special session and fully fund public transit!

We can’t wait! We have to get this done now!

Loving the new L stations that opened with the completion of Phase 1 of the Red/Purple Modernization project! Hoping to see continued investment in transit all across Chicago, starting with closing the fiscal cliff as soon as possible!

Coupling this with the stories about the dramatic rise in home value in Illinois is very depressing as someone who does not own their own home yet. So much work to be done.

If you live in district 12 and care about public transit funding please fill out this survey. Margaret Croke has some pretty bad instincts when it comes to transportation and need to be told what's important.

We’ve got to use every tool in the toolbox to address our housing crisis. That includes building more housing, and reforming outdated building codes.

I’m running for State Senate to be that fighter for housing in Illinois.

In public + legislative talk about the fiscal cliff some are saying it’s not just the state’s responsibility and the Chicago area should tax itself to pay for transit operations.
