I just got a DM from someone that pirated my game.

They said (paraphrasing) that with hindsight the game was absolutely worth the price, and were asking my preferred avenue for them to buy it (Steam vs Itch).

I've gotten a lot of great DMs from players, but this one is probably my favorite.

I know the problems I'm having in life right now. I know what to do about it. I'm going to call the specialist next week and stop complaining about things that are so fixable.

I can do the most mundane tasks right now and I enjoy it. I can do the dishes mindfully. I didn't practice, it just *happened*.

I don't know how I got this lucky. I hope that it lasts. I hope that I remember how happy I am in this moment and I keep going this way.

I can't watch this new show because I have to wait for XYZ, I can't clean out my spare bedroom because I have to set a day for it and do it all in one day, I can't go to the dollar store because then I would have to get clearance from my husband (he doesn't care)

I feel like I've been in an abusive relationship with myself. I didn't allow myself to do anything because, in my mind, everything has to be done a certain way

All this reading and research I've been doing... And I feel like I literally woke up last week just changed

Self growth is realizing that making yourself miserable does not help the people around you, taking care of yourself allows you to be a better person for those around you. It's not selfish if you do it for that
