In what is clearly an attempt to sow doubt in vaccines, RFK removes all representatives from ACIP. To be clear, these are not political appointees. They are pediatricians and scientists.

This is just one example of the critical importance of vaccine studies- all of which are at risk.

As a scientist and the parent of a teenager who wants to be a future scientist (not to mention a world citizen who knows the value of science), this is heartbreaking and shows how long term the damage to US scientific innovation is going to be.

FDA cancels meeting to select flu strains for next season's shots The canceled meeting comes just days after a CDC vaccine advisory committee meeting was abruptly postponed.

Flu is dangerous- especially for the very young, older adults, and those who are immune suppressed or compromised. This does not bode well.
