Lazy analysis + people not watching Arsenal = narratives sticking.

Arteta has been brave with his full backs since Zinchenko arrived and whether theyโ€™re inverting, overlapping or underlapping - play a huge role in how this team attack. The four centre back stuff was nonsense.

FT: Sloppy second half but Arsenal never really troubled. Merino for Gyokeres nuked any threat in behind, and we clearly managed ourselves through with two more away games on the way.

Another win, another clean sheet, job done. Gyokeres very good in the first half, Rice colossal.

That is such a soft free free kick.

01.11.2025 16:36 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 43    ๐Ÿ” 1    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 6    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Really dumb. We're 2-0 up and coasting, why do that?

HT: Another dominant performance from Arsenal - at both ends of the pitch. Early set piece goal broke the game open and from there; it could've been 3 or 4-0.

Gyokeres really impressive + showed plenty in his all-round game, Saka should have scored as well. Step on their necks.

How about that for a breakaway? Leave space if you DARE.

Clincal from back to front, beautiful football, thank you very much.

Ah man, Calafiori should have just whacked that after his first touch - it sat up so nicely!

A bit surprised Saliba has made it, but otherwise as expected. Think an early goal would be really useful today because we're going to have about 85% possession and Burnley will just sit in.

Fancy Gyokeres to score!

FT: Job done in the end. Brighton had chances in the first half but Arsenal looked much better in the second half once they figured things out - powered up from the bench at just the right time.

Great night for Hale End, thought Kepa looked decent too.

That's a lovely goal. Our first real sustained spell of possession, lovely backheel from Merino, nice from Myles and you'll always back Nwaneri from there - great finish.

Took a while but we got there in the end.

HT: Difficult half for Arsenal who probably should be behind. Wasn't expecting much after ten changes; normal that we lack fluency and cohesion against a good Brighton side.

Dowman having fun against De Cuyper, have liked Mosquera and Hincapiรฉ too. Expecting changes on the hour.

Any Arsenal fan will tell you that we can play better, or create more chances but basically every team we play sits back with ten men behind the ball. They double up on our wingers, they crowd the centre - it's hard to break that down.

We keep finding ways to win though and we're not at full pelt.

27.10.2025 12:04 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 89    ๐Ÿ” 1    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 3    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Of course it was dull, who said it wasn't? Palace defended extremely well and cut off our usual supply lines to Saka, so a set piece broke the game open. We could have scored two more (quite easily) in the second half - Palace created nothing.

27.10.2025 11:59 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 9    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

"Painfully dull" Arsenal currently have:

๐Ÿ”บ Highest defensive line in the Premier League
๐Ÿ”บ Most touches in the opposition penalty area
๐Ÿ”บ Most shot-creating actions in the league
๐Ÿ”บ Second-most goals + third-most total shots

With Havertz, Madueke and Odegaard all injured.
