11. Previous relationship experience

Caius doesn't really know what it means to be a partner for life to someone, he doesn't know how to be in a functional long lasting relationship. He acts too late, doesn't confess, or circumstances just got in the way. He's had flings, but everyone he cared

cost. He loves the world, he cares about a lot of people living right this moment. But he too tends to cling to what once was and doesn't deal with loss so well. So if it was the other way around, if he was pushed far enough he'd fall on the same destructive path. But their clash is inevitable.

10. Common/conflicting goals

Their goals do not really align. Both want to protect what they hold dear, their worlds, restore life, but their methods and beliefs are different and neither is ready to give up on anything. Caius tries to understand and look for another way, but it can't come at any

curious about the world so he likes to learn. They do take long walks around the shores of Lakeland, in Rak'tika and wherever Emet follows the group.

Caius also likes to do gardening and picking flowers, Emet doesn't, but he watches Caius tending the plants & feels the aching nostalgia.
