Feeling like I can finally focus on what my life is supposed to be

Started slicing an additional track and all the hours i spent fucking with cutting shit and eqing and automation in my parents basement is coming back but im more practical minded now

But I also keep ending up in tight suffocated spaces and situations because i cant read situations, the world is getting sicker and smaller in these modern times, and i dont make intelligent life choices and i need to take control of that back

If i would LET GO of books newspapers collage materials shoes and clothes I could have a little table with my portable digital 8 track and the mxl mic ready to go, have multiple little stations and then factory chain my work flows together to really hone sound but like, not only do i live clutter

Phantom power mxl 770, like dude i should probably be USING this fucking thing but alas it sits in a god damn box ….. like its too much trouble to plug it in and flip the switch when the other shit is right there i guess? Lol

Everything is a process though. Like I would like to hold on to more audio stuff but i found an audio techbica usb mic i thought stopped working years ago and then eventually worked again when i replaced the cord or somthing, like havent used it in years

But as im minimizing im realizing like man, did i need an acoustic, travel size, p bass and jazz bass? like dude i am NOT that good at guitar and dont play enough to warrant all this space. i should have one and a backup and learn the shit out of it

Out of everything I just cannot let go of the gear i horde because it always ends up in different situations sounding just a little different or a session running a little different and i feel im already at so many advantages, if i can throw some gear switch ups in sometimes thats good

I have this newer computer but i would rather optimize the old computer and clear the hard drive and figure out how to maintain it because old shit sometimes just runs smoother. Idk. Maybe i wont care when i move on but like. I cant bring myself to get rid of computers knowing their potential
