If I had tons of listening time or a better system listening to music during chores I would be interested in how this list shows the still great quality of albums from some artists into the 2000s and in a way the decline of iconic albums since this is a great example of how its NOT like the 90s

You can definitely chalk me finding that specific point in time and those specific albums to be my personal romanticization based on my experience with them and my age but its definitely true that theres something really weird about the last 20 years, but still,, i didnt kno about nmh until 2010

And almost similarly nothing was ever actually as iconic or impactful after that or we are somehow stuck in a limbo of cultural spiritual and artistic technology It feels like for all of the advancements we have had something about that era is when the industry died and the world knows it
