During the morning session at the regional cancer symposium, the focus turned to the intersection between cancer and congenital disorders. Four great speakers were followed by an interactive panel discussion.

Today CHRI and @UNMC_Pediatrics are hosting our fall Pediatric Academic Workshop. The attendees will work together to create a research paper over the course of the event. Very excited to see it all happen!

We had a great line-up of speakers for afternoon of the Pediatric Cancer Research Symposium. Topics were the RUNX1 Research Program, Molecular Risk Stratification in Medulloblastoma, the Nebraska Brain Tumor Collaborative and a philanthropic panel of groups that support cancer research and families.

The early afternoon at the Pediatric Cancer Research Symposium featured an update from our Hematological Malignancies Group, a keynote talk from Dr. Paul Liu from the National Human Genome Research Institute and talk by Dr. James Armitage of the UNMC Division of Hem/Onc. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
