I'd done that a few times and failed, then went for a gait analysys as recommended by seasoned runners and got to say the difference is unreal, bought some good, albeit pricey, running shoes and its like running on clouds.

Good luck with that! I did a run down the canal last weekend with Grim Up North and it was lovely down there!

My friend has terminal cancer and it was her idea for me to run for Breast Cancer Now, so doing it for her!

Am using the garmin one, seems to be working well, couldnt run for more than a minute 8 weeks ago, now run 5k non stop, although hit a bump this week, really glad I got out today!

Managed to avoid the booze, apart from a bottomless brunch last week, over the last 8 weeks and really dont miss it

Felt every step today though 🤣
