The cable to the top and cliff walk at Tianmen Mountain in China are spectacular! Impressive but a little off putting for me was the vast travelator through the mountain. Redeemed by a 999 step from Heavens Gate to the lower cable car.

On a misty day at Zhangzhajie it's not hard to see how they inspired the Avatar "floating mountains"
