This movie has quickly become a comfort watch for me. The MC is obnoxious, yeah, but gradually becomes sort of charming as the movie progresses, and it achieves a fantastic middle ground between horror and comedy.

A ★★½ review of Dream Eater (2024) I hate to say this given how excited I was for the movie, but Dream Eater is just... okay. Even bad found footage is fun to me and this is certainly a vibe at times, but it's still chock-full of trope...

I was pumped for "Dream Eater," and while there were some cool moments, it's ultimately kind of a let down.

Yesterday's viewings! The Long Walk and Strange Harvest... Two wildly different films that I enjoyed for different reasons. Take the latter's ratings with a grain of salt—it's good for what it is, but it's nothing revolutionary. That being said, I enjoyed it.
