Happy for Scream 7 and the franchise. My full review is still incoming but I'll admit that I find S7 disappointing... That being said, the franchise is always effective at making itself an event worth seeing at the movies. The latest entry is no different.

I don't know about better than 5 and 6 but there is some fun to be had with 7! Mostly the slasher sequences. The writing, in general, leaves a lot to be desired for me, which is a shame because Williamson wrote plenty of great Scream movies.

100% agree! The livestream angle is a blast and should be utilized more often. This did it perfectly, as did Gonjiam Haunted Asylum. And you're right, the script for Deadstream is simply a delight.

I get that. I think the fact that it throws absolute shit AT the influencer and is kind of a satire of that whole realm helps the perception a lot, and let's just have fun at his expense.

Loveeeee this movie. It's one of my many new comfort horror watches.

Meant to post this last week but my kid's been sick. What the fuck, Netflix? If you don't know, the original Thai Shutter is one of my favorite horror movies.

We don't need another remake, but I suppose it's heading back to its country of origin, at least. Anybody got this on their radar?
