@meidastouch.com I’m listening to your podcasts of December 6 and I notice how you have modulated your voice to be calmer and softer. I so appreciate that. Like so many, I’m experiencing rather continuous anxiety just reading the news. Listening to a calmer voice helps me be able to keep going.

People keep saying we don’t know what 47 did. Actually, we do know. It just hasn’t been proven in a court of law yet. Numerous women and children have come forward. Many tried to file charges but were threatened with death. Let’s not say we don’t know. Honor the victims by always mentioning them.

Let’s reframe to point out continuously the assertions and testimonies of numerous women who were victims. We know the stats on rape convictions. Let’s not set the stage for denial. Let’s support the women by always mentioning them.

I hear you, Andrew McCabe, Pod Save America, and others repeatedly saying we don’t know what 47 did, and we have no evidence of his wrongdoing. Could we change the framing to say he has not been legally convicted, but 26 women have come forward & he’s paid off at least 6 children to avoid arrest?

Is Mike Johnson in the Epstein files?

This is a person who uses his son to monitor his use of porn. Isn’t that child abuse? Even if his son is grown, how is that moral?

Is the plan to never open the government again?

Right now, 47 could avoid being arrested for tearing down the White House, the People’s House, East Wing, but is that also true of the construction workers who carried out the illegal order?

Let me guess, a pic of Mar-A-Lago? A pic of Melania (since 47 will want to be on the front of all bills)?

It’s illegal to demolish historic buildings without permits, reviews, etc. can the guy who drove the bulldozer be arrested?

Yes. This is important and I’ve brought this up w/PSA before. There are no “underage women.” CHILDREN. Call them children. Don’t normalize destructive language. Teens are girls and boys.

Please, guys. 7/8 PSA you refer to “young women “ Epstein harmed. They were GIRLS. 13yo, 16yo: GIRLS. Please don’t normalize calling teens “women,” as 47 does (women “on the younger side”). Teenagers are girls and boys. Epstein and allegedly 47 violated children. Language matters.

I wonder, since kidnapping is a crime, and rounding up people and throwing them into vans or airplanes without showing a badge or having a warrant or allowing due process, shouldn’t all those ice officers be arrested and charged?

I think you misunderstood. I like what they say very much. But I and a few other Americans are in high anxiety right now. Tone of voice can make it worse or better. Better: Daily Beans, Main Justice. I’m asking Meidas to soften tone.
