I haven't the faintest idea. The decision comes from Astra at a level I don't deal with. I think $15 is the absolute highest that should be charged for an ebook and I'd rather keep it under $10.

Honestly, Ontario banning speed cameras and most bike lanes is a pretty big blow to urbanist optimism in Canada.

The province is 40% of Canada’s population!

The good news is that the recent rain has saturated the soil and the water level in our well is rising. The bad news is knowing this because we've hit the first sulphur pocket.

The trick is making the tea strong enough you can't taste the sulphur.

She’s back home with her mum and dad.’ The local social networks were impressively quick if they already had that news. How soon would word spread that Fin and I were somehow involved? Other people in Pigeon Lane must have seen the police cars arrive, and the coppers talking to us. They’d have seen the screaming baby being carried out of the cottage. How long before someone shared what we looked like or posted a photo? We’d be instantly recognisable in a place this small.

Cozy horror was marketing's idea--cozy was the buzz word for 24/25. Left to my own devices, I'd call it contemporary fantasy but definitely leaning more for romcom than horror. People just tend to overreact to unexpected tentacles...

There's posturing in baseball. Almost never actual fights.

This series needs to get a lot more attention. I loved it. Krista even made the politics enthralling, and usually, I run screaming from politics. At least two of the characters have been living rent-free in my head for the last three years.
