ie: an anime can have unremarkable/passable BG art but the actual drawing style on the characters can be very appealing by comparison.

I have seen some people who are very very proud of some awards they've been received or nominated for, and I think some of them have a misunderstanding of what awards do and are for.

If you think getting an award is prestigious when the show requires you to pay thousands for the award, you are marketing, not receiving an award

idk if you knew this but awards are exist to cement the legitimacy of the organization bestowing the awards and not intended for the award-recipient
