It gave me a flashback: My Aussie roomie screaming, "Hey Misako! You forgot your thongs!" I gasped, "Uh, wait, what?" "YOUR THONGS!" Me: "Oh nooo! How embarrassing!"
...and of course, thongs were flip-flops (here)/slippers(Hawaii)/beach sandals (JP). 🏖️ (she knew I was SO easy to tease🤦)
