Learning creative writing theory killed my writing speed. I used to write 20k in a day, no problem. Now it takes me 3 hours to finish a 1.5k chapter of which I go over each pargraph 3 times and then decide it sucks and redo it. 😭

I'm experimenting with the style and narration.

Not sure about how good the twist or suspense will be, but I'm not aiming to write crime stories anyway. The focuses is on character dynamics and growth, not solving a case. Everything is the result of each character's choices.

...and I love drama

— tried a new approach to writing. It might border on noir even. BVs was an impulsive decision, but it has many of my interests, and I bet there has to be someone who also likes complex character & relationships, the dark side of k-idol life/showbiz, family feuds, rough 🌶 & growth.

Totally agreed. Also cause I had to do it for work before, it just stresses me out. Also cause it's so exhausting and making me feel like I gotta sell myself or smth which honestly I dont want. I just want my story to find its people and to stay away from showing my face on some TikTok for it :(((

isn't it weird how, I like reading erotica, business-brain me knows it sells well. I want to do it to finance other projects—yet somehow I cannot write smut without adding three layers of character trauma, a full cast, and a dramatic plotline? *sigh* I might stay broke forever
