I promise you can do Bloodborne inspired combat in completely new settings! They don't all have to borrow too heavily from FromSoft! Lies of P early on looked like it was just trying to be Bloodborne 2 but it ended up being it's own thing and it was awesome.

So in the past year or two there's been a lot of Bloodborne inspired games and like...I love Bloodborne and want more Bloodborne. But I would love if games inspired by it didn't just do the exact same setting. It's the same issue I have with a lot of Soulslikes that just do a Dark Souls setting.

Probably! Haha I don’t know about other gear types but they look awesome with plate armor. I checked all my main sets I normally use and didn’t see any problems. But I also prefer big bulky af armor so I might not see it.

Okay I said fuck it. They just look TOO good in plate armor so I swapped my mag'har orc over. I love my orc, but they have 0 good hairstyles so she was always bald.

Dude, the haranir look so cool. I have to really sit and consider if I want to change my orc warrior to one.

It's the Dragon Quest Builders 2 team so if you ever played those games it sounds like it's basically like that! Which is great because those games are awesome.

I'm sure the week 1 people that had to actually figure this shit out had a wild time. But it's one of those things where once it's been solved it really isn't that scary. I can see how it's daunting, and again, I don't think it's *easy*, just not the hardest thing ever.

Also I want to point out that I think people really over hyped the difficulty for Idyllic haha like, it's not easy or anything. But I guess I expected it to be crazier? When I heard "one of the most complicated mechanics" in the game, I sweated. But it's really not that bad.

I've officially seen the whole ass mechanic. We unfortunately forgot about the final cleave and didn't live haha

The game is definitely super on my radar and it looks really cool. But I'm going to need to see how people feel about it when it's actually released before picking it up. The combat looks awesome so I hope it's good.

Weight of the Crown

Saw the Gala suit was up so you know I had to get on and get it.

I've also been impressed with how the story of the expansion has been presented. A ton of things are voice acted which really helps me get more invested.

Made it to the Haranir area and dude, they didn't have to go so hard with this music. It's so good.

Well, I can say I beat the game primarily using deflect with dual swords before they fixed this bug haha NG+ about to be a fucking breeze for me now. Dual swords+caestus basically had Lies of P's parry window, which is very small.
