Still worked for me. I hadn't tried it before the patch. Yesterday was the first time I did it, and I now have 6 alphas spawning there.

I finally returned to this hunt a couple weeks ago, and have been chipping away at it...
I'm not having a very normal time.

Back in high school, I'd see a cool new shirt from whatever brand was popular at the time, and then look at the price and think, "Well I have perfectly good clothes, and I could buy a whole game for that..." 😅

100% agree. Games have gotten so expensive, and that's a conversation in itself, but it's hard to deny how "cheap" of a hobby gaming is compared to a lot of other things. At least when comparing dollars per hour.

Very fair point. Some games really hit that perfect recipe, and I think New Leaf is one of them. I have no clue how much I played that over the years, but I definitely never got tired of it.
And you're right, it's hard to complain that $70ish got someone 100+ hours of enjoyment.

People will play a game long enough that all the illusions of the world being "alive" fade, and then they hate understanding that the video game is, in fact, a video game. With rules and patterns that become predictable after 500 hours.
Beating a dead horse here, but New Horizons is a master class.

I returned to this hunt recently, and am at 5900 seen (not counting any of the other wild Mon I accidentally bump into).
Please, I just want a shiny Eldegoss. It's still trapped in SwSh but I want it.

Okay that was extremely awesome! I guess there's a bit of post-credits stuff to do still, but all in all I really enjoyed this story. Pokémon has gotten great at making fun characters to get attached to, with this and SV really showing that off.
Looking forward to whatever the DLC news is tomorrow.
