NAIC is going to be this June, on the same weekend as my birthday, and I would really like to attend, but unfortunately financially I don't think I'll be able to quite make it work on my own, so I'm doing a bit of a fundraiser!

The best advice I can give to anyone is to dual-boot. Don't just wipe out your current Windows install. That way, if you're struggling with something in Linux you don't have to solve it right then. Just jump back into Windows where you know how it works, and solve it on Linux later. Less stress.

No problem. No matter what, the switch to Linux is gonna have a learning curve. Only Windows is gonna be exactly like Windows. But there are a bunch of distros made to be very very similar to it. I started on Mint 4 months ago and after about a week I felt super comfortable with it. Never going back

I use OBS and Discord on my Linux Mint daily, so I can confirm both of those. Looking around, it seems like Stream Avatars works as of last year. There's Pulsemeeter on Linux made to work like Voicemeeter. Voicemod can be run via Wine but it's clunky. Lyrebird seems to be the popular alternative.

Celebi is also always available through Go. I think Zarude is the only one of the 3 that isn't so far.

Very very true, it's just wild to see SO MANY all at once. I mean SwSh had 1? BDSP got 2 without events. PLA had 3, right? SV had 2 if you count the Pecharunt gift. Now ZA has TWELVE with the DLC! 🤯

It's insane to think that one game has over half of all the current Mythical Pokemon (if you include the DLC).
What's up with that? That sounds crazy. Why'd they go so far with it?

Most distros should run OBS just fine. Depending how unusual your daily apps are, it shouldn't be difficult to nail down a good pick. Mint is my go-to recommendation. Mint Cinnamon specifically if you're coming from Windows.

Yeah, and I doubt they'd want the "easy" RNG manip Pokémon to flood Home. Same goes for the cloning glitch.

I expect it at this point. It's a single line of code, intended for debugging, that they just didn't delete before publishing the game. It'd take no effort at all to fix. So if they bothered with the Roar glitch, I'd be shocked if they ignored the RNG bug.

Probably the most exciting part to me! We haven't had underwater exploration in Pokemon outside of RSE (which was admittedly very empty) and New Snap, but that's obviously on rails. This is gonna be so cool!
