So proud of myself - this is the longest book I have ever read (it’s 1,500 pages) And I loved it!!
4/5 stars, an engaging and very readable book! Lost a star as there were chapters that felt quite ramble and unnecessary and ALL the drama happened in the last 300 pages?! #booksky

If you have, please let me know because I have thoughts! Particularly around the fact that I read 1,300 pages of chilled, low cortisol story and then the action comes in the last 200 pages?!

Such a sweet storyline of love and friendship, loved how it jumped from the past to the present with such ease

It’s not secret that I am normally on the go 24/7 but life has been much slower than I’m used to lately☀️
Trying to romanticise the small things in life like coffees, sunny walks and reading books that bring me joy✨
Spotted this whilst having a roam around the library - such a great initiative to help to combat period poverty in the UK, but sad that it is needed.
We need to ensure everyone who menstruates has access to the products they need, and facilitate their choice of method
On the topic of books, I have definitely experienced a dismissal of romance books (in bookshops & bookclubs) as “easyreads” or not important, despite some of our classics being rom
"Do we see broadsheets reviewing romance books? No. And they are just as important literary books”

I’m obsessed with Beth O’Leary books, and this one did not disappoint!
Have to say though, “The no show” is still my favourite- still am yet to get over that one 😍😭 #booksky

I really loved this book, would rate it 4.5/5 stars - it’s so beautifully written with a captivating story line, can definitely see why it won the women’s prize!

Oh #booksky, how I have neglected posting - I have just finished this incredibly insightful book on the transition into motherhood and I would highly recommend it!
