The curse of the night owl D&D dungeon master - Every creative campaign idea hits me after 11 p.m. which means I won't sleep for at least another 2 hours so I don't lose the momentum.
My adult hobby often looks remarkably similar to my student days busting out an essay hours before the deadline.

My sneighbors (snail neighbors) are very important to me. So I brought my macro lens to the backyard and we hung out for a while.

My DND group just came up with the DND equivalent of Sonny and Cher where Sonny is a dwarf and Cher is an 800-year-old elven goddess.

Running a D&D campaign has me here on my couch practicing four distinct old man voices so that I can be ready to yell at my friends using all of them.

It’s such a fun game.

This is coming after I saw the phrase “video podcast” and got unreasonably mad about it. You just mean a talk show.

I hate how social feeds force content to be made for every platform simultaneously now. Storytelling mediums should be chosen with intention! Let audio shine as audio! Don’t make me watch a video that’s actually just a text post! Let us be thoughtful creators again!

On today’s edition of Erin caring about nature’s “unloveable” critters: wasp houses!
On the prairie, I found remnants of a paper wasp nest and a few gall wasp enclosures, which I had never seen before!
(Gall wasps inject their larvae and trick plants into growing a safe, bulbous shell around them)

Can you even call yourself a journalist if you don’t have at least two separate mugs in your cabinet with the entire first amendment printed on them?

Oh that would be so perfect! I got the pattern on Etsy from Sew Desu Ne. I changed the head/snout shape myself to look less cutesy and a bit more fierce, did my own interpretation of the eyes and used a fuzzier fabric. I combined eastern and western dragon features.

Alright I need to find my #sewing people here on BSky. I made a shoulder dragon for the Ren Faire last year and caught the bug for needle and thread crafting.
