No, it's not a talking pumpkin plant; it's just the fruit, picked and carved out, now given new life. Like a lot of talking food (apples, steaks, etc), it's not undead, just...transformed, I guess? Other than its origins, it's a completely separate entity living its own life.

A talking jack-o-lantern carved from a blue doll pumpkin (with teal skin and vivid orange insides) is grinning, not seeming to mind that its cloth diaper (pinned with pale yellow crescent moon pins) appears to be filled and stained with bright orange pumpkin innards.

Three pieces of talking candy corn are oriented in different directions, which causes them to wear their diapers differently. One has tape-up disposable, one has cloth with a ghost pin. The third has a pull-up that appears to be heavily soaked, its fruit designs faded.

Should I start naming these? I based this on a squishables tombstone plush I named Gravery (Grave + given name Avery).

Same as the first picture, but now the pull-up has fabric stretching over the wings to connect it, similar to the second picture.

And here is another way it could wear the pull-up, I guess. Why I'm working on this instead of today's actual prompt, I don't really know.

Tried another way for it to wear the diaper. I think this attaches better, but is obviously bulkier. While I was at it, I made it crap itself. I like the camo on the pull-up better, but there's no way I'm doing that again (and for a larger area, no less).

Iradep does have potties, but they're not quite used like toilets; the practice is to use your diaper while you sit on it. Some people might put an untaped diaper or a pad in the bottom and use it that way, but it's not a common practice.
