My grandson ( light of my life) is about to go in the Army. Wants to be a Ranger. I hope he makes it, but I know what you mean. I taught high school, lol. A lot of good kids though, and bad ones have always been around here and there in all generations.

On the Monday following this day, 83 years ago, my father went to join the Navy following the attack on Pearl Harbor. He said he had to stand in a long line of men eager to defend their country. What happened to this kind of patriotism? To those who loved the Constitution enough to fight for it.
