Sometimes I turn on movies that remind me of my mom. It’s usually a musical. Just hearing the music brings back memories. Today it’s Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. One of the many musicals we grew up on.

I’m seeing too many videos of kids going off to college. I’m getting emotional because it will be mine before you know it. 😩 😭

I pray to remove distractions and remain focused on the path God has planned. 🫶🏾🙏🏾

Trying to identify my son’s taste in music:
Me: “So out of all the music I listen to, what’s your favorite? R&B, country, Bachata, Bad Bunny???”
Son: “None of them.”

How did I have a son who doesn’t like music??

I’m glad I didn’t have it all figured out at 25. I’m glad my son has been able to see hard work in action. He has seen the goal set, pursued and mastered many times over the last few years. I talk to him a lot about challenging himself, leaning into discomfort, and working hard. I grow, he grows 🌱

I just want to go back to witness the Cowboy Carter opening. 🥹 At that moment I was thinking of how blessed I was to be alive. Almost 30 years with B. 8 concerts later. I’m still her biggest fan.
