Definitely fell behind my goal of one piece a month, doesn’t matter because I’m making progress and enjoying what I draw. I hope I can get better at clothes at some point but I have much more fun with characters that don’t have them I suppose.

Probably the first original character I’ve designed and drawn nearly on my own from front to back. Lots of work to get the face right, but I’m happy with it. Might make it a full ref sheet later. Otherwise I’m still on track for one finished piece a month.

A lot more… aggressive than what I’d normally draw, but it’s hard to argue that it’s not good hair and hand practice. Then again I’m told she’s quite the aggressive dragon so I guess it’s in character. Also I’m glad to have checked this month’s piece off early.

A little late for 1 piece a month but I really wanted to practice proper shading and all that. Apparently this is my FFXIV FC’s unofficial uniform, but it’s a furry FC so it makes sense. I think I’m improving or at least I’m pretty happy with this after struggling for a few weeks on the face.

Really happy with the perspective in this one. The whole, ‘finish one piece a month’ goal I’m setting for myself is rough with how busy (or lazy) I am. Especially when I loose confidence, still, I see improvement, even if it’s not as fast as I want it to be.
