Oh bestie. I don’t know who can teach you about how racist you fucking sound; but it ain’t me. :3

And this is the part where you screech about reverse racism.

and don't get me wrong- you can think it's great. That doesn't yuck my yum at all. But to engage in enforcing a particular work of fiction as masterful or authored by one of "the greats" you need more agreeable points than 'it was popular' and intensive strategic consumerist marketing alone. imho

25.02.2026 17:18 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

every single facet of your description can be applied to Mein Kampf; which, was objectively, poorly written. It was mass-published and thrust down the throats of 20th century germany. And then later lauded over globally for it's historical relevance.

"Successful" and "popular" are fine enough.

25.02.2026 17:18 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

you just described popularity. and then supported it with "greatness can be measured by popularity."

Then you went on to imply that greatness can *only* be achieved through popularity.

I think you're just not my target audience, bestie. <3

So, more importantly than joining the now more supported efforts- you’re going to cry about how your generation β€œsaid it first?”

Wipe your tears with the housing market your generation benefitted enormously from before sinking into the depths of the Mariana Trench.

But I, as many did, enjoyed them as a kid. Before I read any other fantasy author and had the realization.

Though, I thank her for pushing me towards better authors. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I mean… sure. But they are not great books by any mark. They are popular~ which is a very different thing.

And that’s without the mention of her vast affinity for plagiarizing world building and narrative form from much more talented authors and story-tellers.

The plot holes alone- my god 😭
