I've seen comments along the lines of why did the police not shoot the perpetrators of the #Huntingdon atrocity, because it's cheaper to kill them straight away than keep them 50 in gaol.

Iβve made it to Trimley. Not a whole lot here expect a lovely running-in board and the branch line into Felixstowe port. Hope a train to Ipswich in about half and hour and maybe a freight train first.

I was accidentally more flippant than intended once but pleased. Present was badly over-time, I said he had to skip to the conclusion slide; he said that the next two slides were the most important and without thinking I said that then perhaps they shouldn't be slides 32 and 33 in 15 minute talk.

I had a dude who overran and after 3 warnings I stood up and sang the little theme from Countdown when the time runs out. He was embarrassed. I was slightly embarrassed. Most of the audience thought it was hilarious.
