Something is already happening with SS. I’ve received 2 “fraud alerts” from ID.Me stating that my SSA account had internal access attempts resulting in blocked access. The 1st time, I went to the SSA site to check and reset everything. 3 days later another notice of fraudulent internal activity.

Well, Elon Musk bought the US for ~ $260 million. I still think he’s a shit businessman, but have to admit he got a hell of a deal.
The founders of our country never took seriously the idea that someone would come along and say “fuck it; doing it anyway”, and people would complacently just shrug.

So, unelected co-president Musk has taken over the country’s wallet, and nobody in government is putting a stop to it? Or really even trying to? If you’re getting a tax refund, file tonight; if you’ll owe money, don’t file. If our tax money is going to be blatantly embezzled, maybe we don’t send it.

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here.
